Maintaining Your Credential Approved Clinical Supervisor (ACS)

L. DiAnne Borders
“You need counseling knowledge and skills to supervise, but that does not mean you know how to do supervision. Michael Jordan is a great basketball player but he has never been a professional basketball coach. Coaching is an entirely different kind of skill set.”

L. DiAnne Borders, Ph.D., ACS and Burlington Industries Excellence Professor in the Department of Counseling and Educational Development at the University of North Carolina at Greensboro.
