BC-TMHs are required to obtain at least four clock hours every year of their five-year credential period. The following requirements apply:

DCCs that transition to the BC-TMH without completing the entire TeleMental Health Professional Training Series are encouraged to complete other modules.
The title or content of an approved CE opportunity must reference some form of telemental health services.
Teach approved seminars, webinars, and workshops focused on telemental health.
Author or edit telemental health publications.
Author an approved BC-TMH training curriculum.
Develop and teach telemental health course at the college/university level.
Serve in a leadership capacity in a telemental health organization or conference.
